Karen Guthrie and Nina Pope have collaborated since 1995 on diverse art projects using new technologies ranging from video to performance to broadcasting. Their piece, A Hypertext Journal, 1996, was a live on-line travelogue following Boswell and Johnson's 'Journey to the Western Isles'. Having recently completed residencies at Grizedale (their projects are currently on view at Collective Gallery in Edinburgh and Q Arts in Derby), they are now organising TV Swansong - 8 new commissions based on sites or situations that have been 'made famous' via television.
