The Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB; www.cccb.org), is a public consortium created by the Diputació de Barcelona (Provincial Council) and the Ajuntament de Barcelona (Barcelona City Council). The CCCB organizes and produces exhibitions, debates, festivals and concerts, programs film cycles, courses and lectures, and encourages creation using new technologies and languages and only with a cultural aim. As a matter of fact, the cycle is organized by the recently created CCCB Lab (http://www.cccb.org/lab/en), a new department of the CCCB dedicated to research and innovation in the cultural sphere, paying special attention to the evolution of formats, working in collaboration with the other departments of the company.
